27 March 2008 -- The Grand Opening of the World Trade Centre – Hong Kong International Airport was launched at the Airport WTC Club on 27 March 2008

The ceremony was successfully carried out with a turnout of over 300 guests including overseas counterparts from WTC Mumbai, WTC Taipei, WTC Wushi and WTC Changzhou.

The Guests of Honours namely Dr Annie Wu, Standing Member, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference & Vice Chairman for Greater China of the World Trade Centres Association, Mr Howard Eng, Airport Management Director of Hong Kong Airport Authority, Mr Paul Gregory - Marketing Director of Regus and Mr Song Hoi See - CEO of WTC - Hong Kong International Airport each gave a remark to officiate the grand opening of the World Trade Centre – Hong Kong International Airport.  The official session of the ceremony was wrapped up by the traditional lion dance, which symbolizes good luck and good fortune.
